We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.
Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree. Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.

Cooper Class Forest School
May 15th, 2026This term in Reception, our topic is “I wonder how people help us.” As part of this, we are learning about different occupations and the qualities of a hero.
We will be travelling by coach. The children will need a packed lunch, which we will eat at school. If you would like your child to have a school-provided packed lunch, please email the school office no later than Friday 8th May.
Additionally, your child will need to wear full school uniform and bring a named water bottle.
The cost of the trip is £13.00. Payment can be available via your ParentPay app shortly. Alternatively, you may pay using the card machine at the school office.
