On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.

We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.

Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree.  Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.

Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

During the session, you and your child will take part in a range of hands‑on outdoor learning experiences. These may include exploring nature, climbing and swinging ,den building, and engaging in sensory activities using natural materials. It will be a wonderful chance to see how the Forest School approach supports children’s confidence, teamwork, and curiosity.

Please ensure both you and your child come dressed in appropriate outdoor clothing, including waterproofs and sturdy footwear, as we will be outside regardless of the weather.

If you would like to attend, please click here to complete the form. This will help us plan for resources and ensure the session is safe and enjoyable for everyone.
